Hello Everyone!
We have been in Florence for 2 days now, and tomorrow we will leave for Rome. Today we rented mountain bikes and rode out into the Tuscan hillsides outside of the city. Our whole trip was 22 miles, and we are SO tired now...it was worth it though. We got up into the hills where they make wine and olive oil, it was very cool to see.
Florence is a great city, lots of shopping here. It is still very hot, but not humid like Venice. We are really starting to look forward to the cooler weather at home. Hopefully we will be able to write again from Rome. See you all soon!

Hey guys. Sounds like all is going very well now. Hope you are able to take many pictures. Rome should be great. Will you go to Vatican City as well? I was told that Rome is quite dirty but VC is extremely clean and nice. Keep writing we all are enjoying reading about your trip. Love Dad
